Restaurant industry veteran Gregory Lippert was named president and CEO of Willie’s Restaurants, parent company of Willie’s Grill & Icehouse and Fajita Willie’s Cafe and Cantina.
Lippert’s background includes more than 30 years of experience in c-suite roles at a variety of restaurant chains, most recently as CEO of Taco Mac. He also previously served as CEO of Quaker Steak & Lube and Mazzio’s Corp., parent to Zio’s Italian Kitchen and Oliveto restaurants.
Willie’s Restaurants operates Willie’s Grill & Icehouse, a casual-dining brand, in the Houston and San Antonio, Texas, markets. The company also operates two Fajita Willie’s Cafe & Cantina locations in the Houston area specializing in Tex-Mex fare.
