ColdZone Dual-Pak Multi-Refrigerant Air Cooled Condensing Units for walk-in coolers and freezers offer two scroll compressors. Medium and low temperature models range in size from 1 to 4 horsepower. Mix and match to meet specific applications. The unit includes a 70-degree F floating head pressure control valve and an integral subcooling circuit.
The 2 PLUS uses the programmable automatic repeat function, so recipes can be preset to operate repeatedly with over-pressure. The unit enables chefs to micro-puree fresh, deep-frozen foods without thawing to produce mousses, ice creams, and sorbets or soups, sauces and fillings. The process preserves aromas, natural colors and nutrients in ready-to-serve portions, per the maker.
Director’s Choice hot food units adjust from 28.8 to 34.5 inches high to adapt for customer and employee ergonomics. Available with manual or electric controls, the units are suitable stationary or mobile use.
Custom refrigeration is available as part of custom-fabricated chef’s counters and serving counters. One-, two- and three-door models feature self-contained or remote refrigeration, stainless steel flattops or raised-rail-style refrigerators. Standard features include stainless steel interior and exteriors, digital temperature controls, foam-in-place CFC-free urethane insulation and front fascia-mounted dial thermometers.
