Restaurant Performance Index Rises Above 100
The National Restaurant Association’s Restaurant Performance Index (RPI) rose to 100.6 in June, up 0.8 percent from May’s level of 99.9. In addition, June represented the sixth time in the last seven months that the RPI stood above 100, which signifies expansion in the index of key industry indicators.

Ruth’s Hospitality Group Announces Leadership Changes
Ruth’s Hospitality Group, Inc. announced changes to its executive leadership team, effective August 8. Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Bob Vincent will take on the newly created position of senior vice president of corporate strategy. Altieri Named ACF Chef Educator of the Year
The American Culinary Federation awarded Dina Altieri, CEC, CCE, a chef-instructor at Kendall College School of Culinary Arts in Chicago, its 2011 Chef Educator of the Year Award and $5,000 at the 2011 ACF National Convention in Dallas on July 26.
