Maguire Lands as CEO of Johnny Rockets
John Maguire was named president and CEO of the Johnny Rockets restaurant chain. Maguire assumes this role in addition to his current position as president and CEO of Friendly’s. Both Friendly’s and Johnny Rockets are owned by Sun Capital Partners, a private equity firm with an extensive portfolio of restaurant concepts.
Camacho Merges With Restaurant Design Service
Camacho, an Atlanta-based foodservice and laundry facilities consulting firm, has merged with Restaurant Design Service Inc., an Alabama-based firm. The company will continue to go to market under the name Camacho. Louise Howard, the owner of Restaurant Design Service, becomes a principal at Camacho.
Shula’s Steak Houses Updates Management Team
Mark Healey joined multiconcept operator Shula’s Steak Houses as an executive vice president. Before joining Shula’s in April, Healey served as senior vice president at Spectra Food Services & Hospitality.
