Head to Lead O'Charley's

O'Charley's Inc. (Nasdaq: CHUX), a restaurant chain operator in the casual dining segment, named David Head its president and chief executive officer, effective Sept. 1. Head, age 53, was also appointed to the O'Charley's board of directors.

An executive with substantial experience in casual dining as well as quick-service, Head most recently served as chairman, president and chief executive officer of Captain D's Seafood Kitchen. He previously served in the same capacity for Romacorp, Inc., the owner of Tony Roma's Ribs, Seafood and Steaks; and as chief operating officer for franchisees of Applebee's and Red Robin Gourmet Burgers.
