Foodservice Equipment & Supplies recognized the accomplishments of five foodservice professionals by naming them the recipients of its 2024 Top Achiever Awards. These individual awards recognize professionals from five industry segments for their abilities to not only run market-leading companies but also raise the level of professionalism for the industry overall.
The winners of the FE&S 2024 Top Achiever Awards are:
- Top Achiever – Dealer: Marc Israel, president, Great Lakes Ventures
- Top Achiever – Consultant: Orlando Espinosa III, principal, Orlando Espinosa Associates, LLC
- Top Achiever – Operator: Jill Horst, executive director of campus dining, University of California Santa Barbara
- Top Achiever – Manufacturers’ Rep: Larry Cantamessa, principal, PBAC. (Cantamessa died in 2023 and will receive the award posthumously.)
- Top Achiever – Service Agent: Angela S. Petitti, vice president, Gary’s East Coast Service
“No matter how much the industry continues to change and evolve, foodservice will remain a people-driven community. And the most successful people will not only know how to get things done, they will also serve as an inspiration for others. The FE&S 2024 class of Top Achievers does all of this and more,” said Joseph M. Each Top Achiever will be on hand to accept their award during the FE&S 2024 Dealer of the Year & All-Industry Awards Gala, which will take place Saturday, May 18, at the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago.

The FE&S Dealer of the Year & All-Industry Awards Gala recognizes the foodservice community’s brightest stars by presenting them with some of the industry’s most time-honored awards. In 2024 FE&S will recognize The Wasserstrom Company as the Dealer of the Year and Rick Post of Compass with its Hall of Fame Award. During the Dealer of the Year & All-Industry Awards Gala, FE&S will also present its Facility Design Project of the Year and DSR of the Year Awards.
