Steelite Buys Homer Laughlin’s Foodservice Lines

Steelite International has acquired Homer Laughlin’s foodservice division and Hall China’s foodservice offerings.

While the terms of the deal were not disclosed, as a result of this transaction the former Homer Laughlin and Hall China manufacturing operations will now collectively go to market as The Fiesta Tableware Company.

The china companies’ dealer network is expected to remain largely intact, with representation being handled by Steelite's network of reps, which is expected to open Homer Laughlin’s products to a broader international market, per a release announcing the deal.

Homer Laughlin's retail line, also known as Fiesta, will not be part of the sale.

This is Steelite’s second acquisition in less than a year. In May of 2019 Steelite acquired D.W. Haber & Son, a manufacturer of buffetware.
