Two Companies Update Foodservice Manufacturing Capabilities

Frontline International and Hoshizaki America made updates to their manufacturing operations.

Frontline International completed an expansion project that doubled the size of its headquarters in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, to total 30,000 square feet. The expansion touches various aspects of Frontline’s business including larger fabrication and welding departments and increased warehouse space. In 2010 Frontline moved to the Cuyahoga Falls location from nearby Barberton.

Hoshizaki America transferred manufacturing of its IM-500SAB stackable and IM-200BAC self-contained square cube ice machines to its facility in Peachtree City, Ga., from Europe. “The demand for specialty ice shapes is just starting to take off in the Americas, but already exists in Europe,” says Jon O’Hern, Hoshizaki’s director of new product development.
