Rep Roundup for May 2019

A long-time CMA associate retires, while Crown Brands and Electrolux update their rep networks. Plus, Heartland reps adds a couple of K-12 specialists.

Sandi Parsons retired from CMA Foodservice Solutions, a Kansas-based rep firm. Parsons has been in the foodservice industry for more than 20 years, and has been with CMA since June 2004, serving as a St. Louis territory manager.

Crown Brands appointed Waypoint as its representative in the Northwest states including Washington, Oregon and Idaho; Northern and Southern California and Mountain West states including Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, West Texas; Georgia and Florida. Crown Brands consists of a variety of lines, including Focus Foodservice, Johnson-Rose Corporation, Update International, Co-Rect Products, Tomlinson Industries and The Oneida Foodservice Group, which it acquired earlier this year.

Electrolux Professional added PCH Solutions to its network of independent manufacturers’ reps. PCH now represents Electrolux in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Hawaii, also known as MAFSI Region 25. PCH already represents Electrolux in northern California and northern Nevada, also known as MAFSI Region 24.

Heartland Reps hired Angie Haberer to serve as territory manager/K-12 school specialist and Amy Honts to serve as an ACF-certified culinologist/chef/K-12 school specialist. A 27-year veteran of the foodservice industry, Haberer spent 12 years with 2 foodservice equipment dealers and 15 years with 2 manufacturer rep groups. Haberer will cover the Springfield, Joplin, Lake of the Ozarks and Wichita markets for Heartland. A foodservice industry veteran with more than 10 years of experience, Honts’ background includes serving as an innovation chef for Wells Dairy, a nutritionist/regional NutriKids specialist for Millard Schools in Nebraska (Sodexho) and as a K-12 key account manager for Acosta Sales and Marketing’s Nebraska Foodservice Team. Honts’ territory includes Nebraska and the Council Bluffs and Sioux City markets
