Vulcan Updates its Team

Maresca promoted to director of sales – East.

Commercial foodservice equipment manufacturer Vulcan announced several changes to its sales and development teams.

Joe Maresca, a 16-year company veteran, will become director of sales – East for Vulcan, effective Jan. 15, 2016. Maresca will be responsible for all East Coast dealer sales. Previously, Maresca served as eastern regional sales manager, vice president of national accounts and business manager for the Range unit.

David Sealfon was named business unit manager, steam for Vulcan. Sealfon joins Vulcan from Micro-Poise Measurement Systems, where he was the division vice president of operations. Previously, David worked for Kobelco Stewart Bolling, holding several leadership roles supplying processing equipment to the tire and rubber industries.

After 43 years with Vulcan and ITW, its parent company, Larry Lyons will retire in the first half of 2016. Before doing so, though, he will transition leadership of the steam business unit to Sealfon. Lyons started at Vulcan's Hillsboro, Ohio, plant and since 2004 he had served as the business unit manager for Vulcan's steam business unit.
