DegreeOne Adds PRO-TEK, PRO-PLUS to its Service Network

PRO-TEK and its sister company PRO-PLUS, both New York-based equipment service companies were acquired by DegreeOne, a national service group network. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

As part of the transaction, Ed Daniels, who founded PRO-TEK and PRO-PLUS, now has a financial interest in DegreeOne, which functions as a holding company. As part of the DegreeOne acquisition team, Daniels will work to expand that network while continuing to run PRO-TEK and PRO-PLUS, which will continue to operate as independent companies.

“Becoming part of the DegreeOne network expands our presence on a national platform,” said Daniels. “We are available on a wider scale.”

DegreeOne provides HVAC, refrigeration and kitchen service equipment maintenance and repair services through its network of companies across the U.S.

PRO-TEK provides kitchen repair and maintenance services in the tri-state area: New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. PRO-PLUS primarily services the Westchester County area of New York and Connecticut.
