Firehouse Subs Taps Franklin to Develop Dallas Market

Firehouse Subs, a Jacksonville, Fla.-based fast-casual sandwich chain, tapped Ryan Franklin to begin developing the Dallas market as an area representative. Franklin is the former chief operating officer of Lone Star Steakhouse and Texas Land & Cattle Steakhouse. He will own and operate one restaurant, which will be used as his training restaurant, to assist in the future expansion of the territory. Franklin has signed on to develop a total of 80 restaurants over the next several years.

Currently, Firehouse Subs operates 18 restaurants across Dallas, which Franklin now oversees.

In addition to growth in Dallas, Firehouse Subs is seeking area representatives for many markets across the country. Responsibilities of an area representative include developing a market based on the sale of franchises and providing overall operational and marketing support to the franchisees, who oversee their own day-to-day operations.
