Kitchen Brains appointed former McDonald’s and Middleby Corp. executive Dave Jendal to serve as vice president, global business solutions for the provider of IOT connectivity and control systems for commercial kitchens.

Jendal began his 30-plus year career at McDonald's, where he was responsible for supporting development of the Asian market. After nearly nine years with McDonald's, Jendal joined Middleby Corp. in the Philippines, where he served as director of marketing and operations. He later held positions at several technology companies before returning to the restaurant-side as director of international engineering for YUM! 

Other roles have been with Manitowoc Foodservice, now known as Welbilt, and most recently with Standex, where he served as vice president of engineering and technical service. Jendal also founded 4C Consulting Group, which helped chain restaurants create better flow for back-of-the-house operations.
