Saladworks Unveils New Design

Fresh-tossed salad concept Saladworks introduced a new restaurant design that includes Wi-Fi bars, communal tables and comfort seating. The store’s new menu boards and graphics reflect the company’s dedication to chopping fresh ingredients daily.

“We analyzed customer data and saw that the number of dine-in versus takeout orders was down, so we wanted to give the restaurants a warmer and more welcoming atmosphere,” said Paul Steck, Saladworks president and CEO. “To encourage our guests to relax and enjoy themselves in the restaurants, we decided to replace the bright secondary colors with an organic, earthy influence and inviting palette including natural colors and warmer tones.”

In 2016, Saladworks plans to remodel 5 existing stores and build 11 new locations with the updated design. Remodels will take place on an at-will basis by franchisees ready and willing to make the investment in their location. The first new store design was unveiled earlier this year in Newtown, Pa. A franchise oriented concept, Saladworks operates 101 locations in 14 states.
