Private equity firm Windjammer Capital Investors has acquired Heritage Foodservice Group, a Ft. Wayne, Ind.-based distributor of OEM replacement and repair parts for commercial kitchen equipment in the foodservice industry. Windjammer partnered with the Heritage management team to acquire the business from The Jordan Company. Full terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1987, Heritage operates 10 distribution centers. The company has made foodservice industry headlines in recent years through its acquisitions of R.G. Henderson, Key Food Equipment Services, and Choquette CKS, which have helped Heritage build its business in Canada.

In addition to Heritage, Windjammer also owns Component Hardware Group.
