Burger King Agrees to Sell 278 Company Restaurants to Carrols
Carrols Restaurant Group has agreed to purchase 278 company-owned restaurants from Burger King Corp. The deal includes restaurants in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.
Warne to become CEO of Perkins & Marie Callender’s
Perkins & Marie Callender’s, a chain restaurant in the family dining segment, selected Jeffrey Warne to serve as its chief executive officer effective April 9, 2012. He will replace Joseph "Jay" Trungale, who will step down as Perkins & Marie Callender’s CEO after eight years with the company.

Krystal Sold to Argonne Capital
Private equity firm Argonne Capital Group has purchased The Krystal Company, an 80-year-old restaurant chain specializing in burgers. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Paul Peot was named president and CEO of Perlick Corporation. Peot succeeds interim CEO Fred Luehrs who retired on December 31, 2011.
