Roark Capital to Acquire Majority Position in CKE FE&S FlashNews

CKE Inc., owner of such restaurant chains as Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s, has reached an agreement that will allow an affiliate of Roark Capital Group to acquire a majority stake in the company.


Foodservice Warehouse Buys Loubat FE&S FlashNews

FoodserviceWarehouse.com, a Denver-based foodservice equipment and supplies dealership, has purchased the assets of Loubat Equipment Co. The 137-year old Loubat had filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy before Foodservice Warehouse purchased the assets of the New Orleans dealership. Exact terms of the deal were not disclosed.


Sam Tell and Son Jumps Into the Acquisition Pool with Paramount Deal FE&S FlashNews

Sam Tell and Son affiliate Warren Acquisition LLC, has acquired the assets of Paramount Restaurant Supply Corp., a foodservice equipment and supplies dealership with offices in Warren, R.I., Phoenix and New York City. Terms of the self-funded deal were not disclosed.
