Murtha to Lead Bloomin’ Brands International Efforts
Pat Murtha will be the new executive vice president of Bloomin’ Brands, and president of Bloomin’ Brands International, effective Nov. 11, 2013. In this role, Murtha is responsible for helping define, develop and implement the company’s international growth strategy.

San Jamar Sells Chef Revival to Affinity Group
The Affinity Group, parent company to Dexter-Russell, has acquired Chef Revival from San Jamar. The complete Chef Revival product line, including chef apparel, aprons, crew uniforms, towels, hats and hair nets, are included in the purchase.
QualServ Updates Operating Structure
QualServ Corporation has formed a new operating entity, QualServ Solutions, LLC. The new entity was created as part of a restructuring that assigns substantially all of the assets and liabilities from QualServ Corporation to the operating subsidiary, QualServ Solutions, LLC.
Biswas to Lead Middleby India

Noyes to Become President of Ninety Nine Restaurant & Pub
Charlie Noyes will become president of Ninety Nine Restaurant & Pub, a New England-based casual dining chain. Effective Nov. 11, Noyes will replace the retiring John Grady.
Dunkin’ Brands Updates Management
To help accelerate system-wide growth, Dunkin’ Brands Group, Inc. is expanding the roles of Paul Twohig, president of Dunkin’ Donuts U.S. and Canada, and Bill Mitchell, president, Baskin-Robbins U.S. and Canada, to include international regions. As a result of these changes, Giorgio Minardi, president, Dunkin’ Brands International, will leave the company.
Slower Sales and Traffic Levels Lead to September Restaurant Performance Index Decline
The National Restaurant Association’s Restaurant Performance Index (RPI) dropped to 100.2 in September, down from 100.5 in August. This represents the fourth consecutive month where the composite index that tracks the health of and outlook for the U.S. restaurant industry experienced a decline. Still, breaking the 100 barrier indicates expansion in the index of key industry performance indicators.
