TriMark USA Buys Century Concepts
TriMark USA, Inc. has acquired Century Concepts Inc., a Suwanee, Ga.-based foodservice equipment and supplies dealership. The company will join the TriMark South Division to create a new division: TriMark Century Concepts.
Taco Cabana Updates Management Team
Taco Cabana promoted Mark Phillips to vice president of operations. The chain also promoted Gerardo Arce to vice president of finance.

NRA’s August RPI Heats Up to 100.6 in August
The National Restaurant Association’s Restaurant Performance Index (RPI) stood at 100.6 in August, up 0.4 percent from July. This also represents the first increase in 5 months and the 10th consecutive month the index exceeded 100, signaling expansion among key foodservice industry economic indicators.
Sysco Updates Canadian Management Team
Sysco Corporation promoted Randy White to president of Sysco Canada from president and CEO of Sysco Canada’s Western region and Sysco Calgary. Rod Stroud, president and CEO of Sysco Canada’s Eastern region and Sysco Central Ontario, was named executive vice president and chief operating officer of Sysco Canada.
