The Passing of Thomas Bryan and Joseph Lawrence

The foodservice industry remembers two reps. 

The foodservice equipment and supplies industry mourns the passing of reps Thomas Bryan and Joseph Lawrence. Both gentlemen passed away on March 20, 2012.

Bryan's foodservice career started with his dad's restaurant supply business, U. S. Fixture and Store Company. He later worked for United Inns and then as an outside sales rep for South Eastern Manufacturers' Agents (SEMA) in Atlanta, until he retired in 2011 with more than 60 years in the foodservice equipment and supplies industry.

Bryan is survived by his wife of 61 years, Nancy; sister, Dorothy Nealis; son Tom; daughters, Nancy B. Born and Susie B. Hall; and eight grandchildren.

The family requests memorials to be made to: First Evangelical Church, Missions Fund, 735 Ridge Lake Blvd. Memphis, Tenn., 38120.

Lawrence passed away March 20, 2012. He was the president and owner of Dealers Choice, a manufacturers' representative company in Larchmont, N.Y. A veteran of the Vietnam War, Lawrence served his country through a four-year stint in the Navy.

Lawrence is survived by Laura, his wife of 45 years, daughters Karen Healey and Jennifer Lynch, eight grandchildren and sister Frances Criscuolo.
