Foodservice equipment industry veteran Corey Burns, CFSP, was named vice president of sales for the MVP Group, a Miami, Fla.-based independent manufacturers’ rep firm.

Burns most recently served as a national account executive for TriMark Strategic, working with a variety of chain restaurants. 

His 22-plus years in the foodservice industry also includes several positions with Manitowoc Foodservice (now doing business as Welbilt Foodservice) including vice president of global simplification, vice president of global network management, and service director for the Americas Region. Prior to joining Manitowoc Foodservice, Corey worked for the Ali Group and Standex Foodservice.
