Welbilt Updates Executive Structure

Foodservice equipment manufacturer adds focus on digital capabilities.

Multiline foodservice equipment manufacturer Welbilt updated responsibilities of Andreas Weishar, the company’s senior vice president of strategy, marketing and human resources. Weishar’s area of responsibilities now includes digital initiatives and information technology. As such, his new title is senior vice president, strategy, marketing and digital. Weishar joined Welbilt in February 2016.

In a related move, Welbilt hired Diana Sacchi to serve as chief human resources officer, taking over the responsibility of that functional area from Weishar.

“Our new leadership structure will better support the execution of our growth strategy and accelerate our continued transformation to become the leader in the global foodservice equipment industry. It enhances our ability to meet the changing needs of our customers and their growing demand for digital solutions, while further increasing our employee focus. In addition, it will strengthen our M&A focus which, after a period of organic growth, becomes more important,” said Hubertus Muehlhaeuser, president and CEO of Welbilt.

Sacchi, 58, most recently served as vice president, human resources North America for LG Electronics USA. Prior to LG, she held a variety of human resources leadership roles with Grameen America Inc., Avon Products Inc., Bristol-Myers Squibb Company and the United Nations Development Program.
