NIPA Forms Supply Chain Optimization Company

Mid-market manufacturing buying group PrimeAdvantage now part of OMNIA Partners.

National Intergovernmental Purchasing Alliance, an education and public sector purchasing cooperative, has formed OMNIA Partners, a shared services and supply chain optimization company dedicated to government, education and the private sector.

OMNIA Partners consists of three subsidiaries: National IPA; Prime Advantage, a Chicago-based mid-market manufacturing group purchasing organization acquired in June; and Corporate United, a Cleveland-based group purchasing organization focused on customers within the Fortune 1000, with whom OMNIA has signed a definitive agreement to acquire.

PrimeAdvantage was founded by Louise Sullivan, former president of Groen and of the North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers.
