Camacho, an Atlanta-based foodservice and laundry facilities consulting firm, has merged with Restaurant Design Service Inc., an Alabama-based firm. The company will continue to go to market under the name Camacho. Louise Howard, the owner of Restaurant Design Service, becomes a principal at Camacho.

As a result of this deal, Camacho now has offices in Atlanta, Charlotte, N.C., and Eufaula, Ala.

Restaurant Design Service was founded in 1985 in Portland, Ore., and relocated to Alexandria, Va., in 1992 and Eufaula, Ala., in 1996. The company’s portfolio of projects spans school foodservice, college foodservice, assisted living facilities, child development centers, and state park lodges, per a release announcing the deal.
