Remembering Robert Costantini

Robert Costantini Sr., a longtime member of the foodservice equipment community, has passed away.

After graduating from Temple University in 1958, Costantini began his career in the foodservice industry working for his oldest brother Anthony Raymond Costantini at their family business, Victory Metal Manufacturing located in Plymouth Meeting, Pa.

Bob Costantini, who did business under the name Bob Raymond, worked his way through the ranks at Victory becoming sales manager and eventually earning the position as president. He remained as president until leaving the company in 1979. Costantini’s career also includes leadership positions with Shelly Manufacturing, then an Alco Standard Company.

In 2002, Costantini teamed with his wife Sandra and son Michael to form Unisource Marketing Group, an independent manufacturers’ rep firm. He retired from Unisource in 2002.

Costantini is survived by his wife Sandra; sons Robert Costantini Jr. and Michael Costantini; and four grandchildren.
