EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award Honors Bon Appetit and Vitamix Execs

A pair of foodservice industry professionals were recognized for their achievements with the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

Fedele Bauccio, co-founder and CEO of Bon Appetit Management Company, a restaurant company that operates more than 500 on-site restaurants at museums, sports venues, private universities and corporations, has been named the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2014 National Retail and Consumer Products Award winner. Bauccio was recognized for redefining the institutional food service industry and being a pioneer in environmental and local sourcing policies. Today, Bon Appetit serves over 150 million scratch-made, locally-sourced, sustainable meals each year.

The EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2014 National Family Business Award was presented to Jodi Berg (pictured right), president and CEO of Vitamix, a fourth-generation family-owned manufacturer of blending equipment. The EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award recognizes industry leaders who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in addition to an unyielding personal commitment to their organizations and communities.
