ITW FEG's Szafranski to Retire

Longtime foodservice professional to leave ITW FEG at the end of June.

Tom Szafranski, president of Food Equipment Group Sales for ITW, will retire on June 30, 2014.

Szafranski began his Hobart career in 1984 as a foodservice territory sales manager in Columbia, S.C. Six years later he accepted the field-based position of food retail national account manager in Charlotte, N.C., and then relocated to Troy, Ohio, in 1993 as a sales development manager for food machines.

After returning to ITW's Foodservice Division in 1995, Szfranski was named headquarters-based national account manager for the business and institutional segment. In 2000, he was named director of national accounts and was promoted to vice president of strategic accounts in 2003. Later that same year Szfranski moved into the vice president, foodservice sales role with responsibility for all domestic sales of Hobart and Traulsen products.

Szfranski was named president, FEG Commercial sales in October 2008.
