Saint Clare's takes top honors.

Saint Clare Health Systems’ Joanne McMillian and Aatul Jain show off their award-winning dish from the 2014 AHF Culinary Competition.The team representing Saint Clare's Health System in Denville, N.J., took top honors in the fifth annual culinary competition hosted by the Association for Healthcare Foodservice (AHF).

Representing Saint Clare's Health System were Joanne McMillian, director, and Aatul Jain, retail operations manager and chef.

Second place honors went to the team representing Florida Hospital in Orlando, led by Robyn Butsko, chef manager, and Bryan Boatman, banquet chef. Placing third was the team from The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, N.J., led by Steven Bressler, retail services manager, and John Graziano, executive chef.

The teams and their dishes were judged on organization, time management, culinary skills, originality, taste, plate presentation and use of the mystery ingredient.
