Pizza Inn Taps Gier to Fill CEO Post

Former Yum! Executive takes over immediately.

Pizza Inn Holdings, Inc. named Randy Gier its chief executive officer, effective today. Gier succeeds interim CEO Clinton Coleman, who will return to his role as a member of Pizza Inn's Board of Directors, where he has served since 2007.

Gier's more than 30 years of experience includes working for Yum! Restaurants' Pizza Hut and KFC divisions and he founded Savvy Fare Restaurant Group which launched the Cedars Woodfire Grill concept.
