Halvorsen Named President of the New Jersey Restaurant Association

Hospitality veteran takes on new role.
The New Jersey Restaurant Association named Marilou Halvorsen its new president. She replaces the late Deborah Roy Dowdell, who held the position for more than two decades but passed away last March.
A 20-plus-year veteran of the tourism and hospitality industry, Halvorsen is the previous director of marketing of Jenkinson's Boardwalk, Point Pleasant Beach & Casino Pier in Seaside Heights, N.J.
