Restaurant industry veteran Jay Miller to join PMCI's research and development team.
Family dining operator Perkins & Marie Callender's Inc.named Jay Miller its vice president of research and development. In his new role Miller is responsible for creating and delivering new menu items.
Miller has more than 20 years of restaurant industry research and development and food and beverage experience. He most recently served as director of product Innovation for Black Angus Steakhouse and has previously held positions at IHOP and Max & Erma's Restaurants. His educational background includes an AOS degree from the Culinary Institute of America and Johnson & Wales in Providence, R.I.
Perkins operates 480 restaurants in 34 states and five Canadian provinces. The Perkins system includes 161 company-owned and operated restaurants and 319 franchised units.
