Trevor Haynes, Subway’s chief business development officer, will serve as interim CEO while the sandwich chain searches for a permanent replacement.Trevor Haynes

Greco has been CEO since 2015.  Prior to her role as CEO, Greco was part of the research and development team for more than two decades and was promoted to lead the group as vice president of operations and research and development in 2013. She first joined the company in 1973 as a sandwich artist.

Haynes has held numerous leadership roles at Subway. He joined the company in 2006 as territory manager in Australia, moved to the United Kingdom in 2009 to serve as the senior area development manager for the U.K. and Ireland and in 2014 joined the team in Milford, Conn., as the global director of operations.
