Henny Penny Updates Management and Structure

Connelly adds CEO role to his responsibilities.

Foodservice equipment manufacturer Henny Penny made a series of changes to its management team, which includes the creation of a new functional area within the Ohio-based company that combines engineering, product development and innovation.

Following is a brief overview of these changes:

  • Steve Cobb, previously chairman and CEO, is now chairman.
  • Rob Connelly, previously president, is now president and CEO.
  • Jeff Kincer, previously vice president of engineering, is now vice president of manufacturing and innovation, a newly created area combining engineering, product development and innovation.
  • Tim Crammer, previously vice president of marketing, is now vice president of services, a newly created area combining technical support, customer service and purchasing.

"One of the most significant changes is occurring within a newly created area that will bring together our engineering, product development and innovation areas," said Connelly.

Within this new area, Rick Cartwright now serves as director of product development and innovation, overseeing electronic engineering, project management, product management, product development and food science. Cartwright previously served as Henny Penny's director of controls engineering. In addition, Don Kern is now Henny Penny's director of engineering, overseeing a newly created department of quality and warranty as well as engineering, reliability and lab, engineering services and safety. Kern previously served as director of quality assurance and safety.

This news comes on the heels of Henny Penny's tacking on a 44,000-square-foot addition to its headquarters in Eaton, Ohio.
