Logan's Roadhouse CEO Andres to Lead McDonald's USA

Forty-one-year company veteran Straton to leave the burger giant.

Jeff Straton will retire from his position as president of McDonald's USA. As a result, Mike Andres has resigned his post as chairman and chief executive officer of Logan's Roadhouse to replace Straton as president of McDonald's USA. Andres will join McDonald's effective Oct. 15, 2014 and his responsibilities will also include Canada.

Andres began his McDonald's career in the restaurant, as manager for his family-owned McDonald's in Northern California. He spent 30 years with McDonald's in a variety of leadership roles.

Gerard Lewis, a 35-year veteran of the restaurant industry, has been named interim CEO for Logan's Roadhouse and will transition with Andres over the coming weeks. He most recently served as chief concept officer for Wendy's International. Prior to that Lewis served as chief concept officer for Boston Market. Since his retirement from Wendy's at the end of last year, Lewis has worked as a member of the Logan's executive management team consulting on culinary strategy and new menu development.
