Franchise operator joins cupcake-themed chain's executive management team.

Smallcakes: A Cupcakery named Nadia Saqr its chief executive officer for the chain's U.S. franchises. In her new role as CEO, Saqr is responsible for overseeing the opening of new franchises and operations of existing franchises. Saqr will also assist founder Jeff Martin with brand development.

Saqr joined the Smallcakes team in February 2013 after opening the first franchise cupcakery in the Texas region. Her background includes a variety of sales and marketing positions outside of the foodservice industry.
Smallcakes operates 55 locations across 13 states.
