Concord Hospitality Taps Wendel

Thirty-year veteran of the hospital industry takes on new challenges.

Concord Hospitality Enterprises named Dean Wendel its new corporate director of food and beverage, overseeing the culinary programs at the company's 14 full-service and 84 select service hotels.

The new position is a promotion for Wendel who previously served as the company's executive chef/director of food and beverage for its Renaissance Raleigh Hotel. His career in hospitality spans 30 years and includes working for Ritz Carlton and JQH Hotels.
