Qdoba exec enters the pizza segment.

As part of its plan to speed growth, Project Pie named Todd Owen vice president of franchise development. The emerging fast-casual pizza concept operates three domestic locations and plans to expand internationally.

Owen brings more than 18 years of experience in franchise development to his new role, most recently as vice president of franchise development for Qdoba Restaurant Corporation. He has also worked for franchise development for Taco Bell and Pepsi-Cola.
