This one-year-old Cambridge, Mass.-based restaurant in the heart of Harvard Square blends a pronounced bar with four distinct dining spaces for an all-night eating and drinking affair.
Designer Peter Niemitz (the brains behind beloved Boston restaurants Island Creek Oyster Bar, Russell House Tavern and Clio) teamed with owner Patrick Lee of the Grafton Group to work within the space’s existing architectural challenges (low ceilings, subterranean dining) to develop a multi-room space with an eclectic rustic-meets-deluxe design feel. The décor includes vintage objects from Cambridge Antiques, such as 1930’s-inspired sconces, counterculture artwork, first edition books and more.
