Concept Closeup: Building Better Brunches

San Diego, Calif.-based Hash House A Go Go, a 12-year-old concept, has spread its wings across the United States with four locations in Las Vegas as well as new stores in Reno, Chicago and most recently in Montville, Conn. 

Hash House A-Go-GoThe restaurant focuses on serving characteristically over-sized, mile-high portions of food with funky and modern twists sourced from local, small-farms. The décor matches the uniqueness of the menu, which includes serving breakfast all day, with a mixture of urban steel and warm wood accents. Butch cables, exposed steel ceiling beams, beige tiled walls and mod furniture pair with orange accented walls, red leather booths and simple tabletop design. Outside, a pink and red terra cotta exterior harkens back to traditional Southwestern architecture.
