Buettgen and Drapkin get new positions at the casual dining chain.

Ruby Tuesday, Inc. hired J.J. Buettgen to serve as the company's president and chief executive officer. The casual dining chain also appointed Matthew Drapkin chairman of the board. Both of these developments take effect Dec. 1, 2012.

Buettgen joins Ruby Tuesday from Darden Restaurants, where he most recently served as chief marketing officer. Buettgen's 20-year career also includes working at Disneyland Resorts, Brinker International and General Mills.
