Evans to lead North American operation and Dans to head up sales for the newly created Food Retail Division.

Electrolux Professional announced a pair of executive appointments. John Evans is the head of the manufacturer's North America Region, also known as Region 5, in the Electrolux Professional Commercial Organization. And Shane Dans is the director of sales in its newly created Food Retail Division.

Evans previously held the position of vice president marketing and sales for Electrolux Professional North America. Evans is responsible for all foodservice activities within the North American market, along with Electrolux's green wetcleaning business unit Lagoon.

In his new role Dans is responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans, and building Electrolux's presence in the supermarket/food retail market in the United States and Canada. As part of these efforts, Dans will look to build relationships with national and regional grocery chains and develop partnerships with foodservice equipment distributors that cater to the retail segment.
