Displayware made from bamboo.
Made from bamboo fiber, an eco-friendly, renewable resource, this displayware is biodegradable and safe for commercial dish washing, but not safe for ovens or microwaves. The bamboo is harvested, dried, ground and pulverized into a very fine powder and mixed with 100 percent food-safe pigments. After high-pressure and heat is applied to cast the piece, a glaze is then applied for sealing.
