Krowne Metal Corporation hired Ran Berger to serve as western regional sales manager for the manufacturer’s foodservice division, effective March 14.

Days after agreeing to pay $48.5 million in resolve allegations that subsidiaries TriMark Gill Marketing and Gill Group Inc. improperly manipulated federal small business set-aside contracts, TriMark USA released a statement to its customers.

Singer Equipment has acquired Kittredge Equipment Company, an Agawam, Mass.-based dealer that has been owned by the Webber family for more than 100 years. As a result of the deal, Kittredge is now part of a newly formed division within Singer and will go to market as Singer Kittredge.

P.F. Chang’s opened its second to go location in Jacksonville, Fla. This marks the 11th P.F. Chang’s To Go location systemwide.

TriMark USA has agreed to pay $48.5 million to resolve allegations that its subsidiaries, TriMark Gill Marketing and Gill Group Inc., improperly manipulated federal small business set-aside contracts around the country, per an announcement from Carla B. Freedman, the United States Attorney for the Northern District of New York, and Vanessa R. Waldref, the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Washington. A former TriMark executive in charge of the company’s government business, Kimberley Rimsza, agreed to pay an additional $100,000 as an individual civil penalty for her conduct in connection with these allegations.

Pentair, a provider of water treatment solutions for a variety of market segments including foodservice, will acquire Manitowoc Ice, a commercial ice maker manufacturer, for $1.6 billion. The deal likely allows Ali Group to take a significant step forward in completing its previously announced acquisition of Welbilt, which owns Manitowoc Ice.

Joe Deckelman was named president of The Montague Company, an Ali Group company, effective immediately.

Multiconcept operator Focus Brands tapped Tory Bartlett to serve as chief brand officer for Moe’s Southwest Grill. Bartlett, who has been with Focus Brands for three years, previously served in the same role for sibling concept Schlotzsky’s.

Jay Fiske has been promoted to president of Powerhouse Dynamics, a Middleby company that provides Internet of Things solutions to the restaurant industry.

Multiconcept operator Landmark Hospitality appointed AJ Capella executive chef for its Liberty House Restaurant in Jersey City, N.J. His background includes five years at the Ryland Inn, also a Landmark property, in Whitehouse Station, N.J.

After a 50-year career at Hotel & Restaurant Supply, Ollie Wilkes will retire from the Mississippi-based foodservice equipment and supplies dealer, effective March 4, 2022. Wilkes most recently served as Hotel & Restaurant Supply’s vice president of national accounts.

East Coast Wings + Grill promoted company veteran Whitney Mann to executive vice president of operations for the full-service, casual dining chain.

Peter Nordell will retire from his role as president and CEO of Edlund Company, effective August 31, 2022. Ryan Whitney will transition from his role as Edlund’s vice president of operations to president of the Vermont-based foodservice equipment manufacturer.

Ritch Allison will retire from his role as chief executive officer for Domino’s Pizza, effective April 30, 2022. Russell Weiner, chief operating officer and president – Domino's U.S. will succeed Allison as the pizza chain’s CEO, effective May 1, 2022.

T&S Brass and Bronze Works promoted DeAnna Thompson to marketing manager for North and South America and Christine Stillinger to marketing coordinator for Europe, South Africa and the Middle East.
