Lorne Deacon was promoted to president of Milwaukee-based foodservice equipment manufacturer Hatco Corp.

The Vollrath Company hired Walter Bates to serve as east regional sales manager for the Wisconsin-based foodservice equipment and supplies manufacturer.

Multiconcept operator WOWorks created two chief brand officer positions to oversee its two groups of six restaurant brands, as well as handle the day-to-day operations for these concepts. Two company veterans were appointed to fulfill these roles.

Apparently, multiconcept operator FAT Brands has a sweet tooth as the company has struck a deal to acquire the 85 franchised chain of stores known as Nestlé Toll House Café by Chip from Crest Foods. As part of the deal, FAT Brands will rebrand the locations as Great American Cookies, which is one of its portfolio brands.

BradyIFS has acquired Camden Bag and Paper Company, a distributor of foodservice and janitorial and sanitation products serving New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
