Domino's, CPK, The Cheesecake Factory, Energy Kitchen and Greenz all announced expansion news.

 

Domino's Pizza (NYSE:DPZ - News), opened its first store in Bulgaria in the Sofia region. The master franchisee for Bulgaria is Anatron Food Services, who also serves as the master franchisee for Domino's Pizza in Greece and Cyprus. The stores in Bulgaria will be operated by LN Solutions, owned by Lazgin Majid and Nikola Nikolov.

 

California Pizza Kitchen, Inc. (NASDAQ:CPKI), opened a full-service restaurant in Braintree, Mass., the chain's sixth in the Boston area.

The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated (NASDAQ: CAKE) inked an exclusive licensing agreement with the Kuwait-based Alshaya group of companies to build and operate Cheesecake Factory restaurants in the Middle East. The agreement provides for the development of 22 restaurants over the next five years in five countries – United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – with the opportunity to expand the agreement to include other markets in the Middle East and North Africa, Central and Eastern Europe, Russia and Turkey.

Energy Kitchen, the Manhattan-based fast-casual chain with a health-centric menu, signed an area development agreement to add three units in New York's Nassau County.

Beautiful Brands International signed an agreement with Larry Koehler and Casie Caldwell for the first Greenz Salads franchise. The new restaurant will be converted from a corporate store located in Dallas.
