Edie Ames was named chief executive officer for The Pie Hole, a Los Angeles-based pie and coffee shop with global expansion ambitions.

A 30-year veteran of the restaurant industry. Ames’ background includes working with The Counter and BUILT Custom Burgers, Wolfgang Puck Catering, Real Mex Restaurants, Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group and Morton’s of Chicago.

The handmade pie concept operates eight locations across Southern California, including six stores in Los Angeles County and one each in Orange and San Bernardino Counties. It also has a location in North Carolina and three locations in Tokyo, Japan.
